SHORT TERM TRAININGS (2024-25)

1. Farmers’ training: It is an orientation training to start poultry farming. Three batches of short-term training on poultry production management (5 days duration) are being organized at the Institute every year. Any literate person is eligible for enrolling to the course. Enrolment fee is Rs. 1000/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 600/- for SC/ST candidates only. Application forms can be obtained by writing to the Head, Technology Transfer Section, CARI, Izatnagar, Bareilly 243 122 (U.P.)

2. In-service personnel training: Specialized training courses on poultry farming are organized at the Institute for in-service personnel of various State Government Departments to update them with the latest technological know-how.

3. Sponsored training courses: Sponsored training courses on poultry production management are being organized time to time on demand for the farmers nominated by A.H. Deptt., Govt. of Bihar and ATMA.

4. Training for Defence personnel: Training courses on poultry production management are being organized for the army soldiers nominated by Gorkha Resettlement Training Unit and other army units.

EDP (Entrepreneurship Development Programmes) 2024-25

This course has been designed to skill the budding entrepreneurs in the field of diversified poultry farming focusing on Desi fowl, Japanese quails, Turkey and Guinea fowl apart from broilers and layers and allied sectors in order to meet constantly growing demand for poultry products. The course imparts training on complete supply chain right from “farm to fork”. The course also provides exposure about various activities akin to poultry farming and management through short films etc. Course comprises of interactions with entrepreneurs, virtual visits to laboratories, discussions, and information/idea exchange with participants for the benefit of prospective entrepreneurs.

Eligibility: For all courses-must be a graduate in any stream. Itermediate pass applicant can be considerd for the purpose on the discretion of the competent authority.

The candidate selected may please be relieved only after receipt of the confirmation from this office.
Boarding & Lodging: The limited boarding and lodging facilities available at CARI Trainees Hostel-cum- Guest House on first-come-first serve basis on the payment basis as per ICAR norms by prior intimation.
