Research

Dr. Saran's area of research is Policy planning and analysis vis-a-vis emerging threats and opportunities concerning poultry sector including international trade. At present, he is engaged in the project entitled "Role of and access to Institutional Credit for Poultry Development in India". Besides, he is also engaged in the projects concerning consumer preferences, poultry inputs and products supply chain and capacity building for promoting livelihood security through family poultry etc.

Consultancy

Dr. Saran offers consultancy services to provide assistance for preparation of bankable project reports for establishing poultry farming and allied units for raising institutional finance (loans) under various schemes of the Central/State Governments.
